Service by Medallion earns Silver EcoVadis rating
Pushing limits in sustainable business operations for the built environment
With nearly 50 years of award-winning service, Service by Medallion continues to demonstrate how integrity, foresight, and innovation transform the built environment. We’re proud to announce that we have once again earned a Silver rating from EcoVadis, the world’s most trusted third-party sustainability rating platform. This honor places us in the top quartile of facility management companies worldwide. More importantly, it reflects how our program transforms sustainability goals into measurable performance.
It’s a noteworthy achievement for us that this year’s rating reflects gains across every evaluation area: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics, and a remarkable 20% year-over-year improvement in Sustainable Procurement.
We use the EcoVadis framework not just to benchmark progress, but to guide responsible investments that add value for our customers. These investments help clients meet regulatory requirements, reduce risk, and reach ambitious sustainability goals while keeping everything transparent.
What this means for Procurement, Sustainability, and Facilities teams
Whether you’re managing a multi-site workplace, overseeing vendor risk, or supporting internal sustainability reporting or compliance, this third-party rating serves as a verified benchmark for our performance.
Compliance is coming
Beginning January 1 2026, California companies generating over $1 billion in annual revenue will be required under SB253 to disclose their 2025 Scope 3 emissions. With increased regulatory scrutiny fast approaching, organizations are seeking vendor partners who already operate with verifiable accountability.
Our improved scores signal industry leadership in a number of important areas:
Clear alignment with sustainability and sourcing standards
Third-party validation to support audit and reporting processes
Reduced documentation workload and cost by partnering with a systems-driven service team
A consistent, systems-based operations partner
As we mention above, the EcoVadis assessment evaluates more than 130,000 companies worldwide across 21 criteria spanning four pillars: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. In serving Fortune 500 corporate campuses, we carry both the responsibility and the opportunity to shape meaningful change. By combining our industry expertise, we deliver innovative facility solutions that improve our clients’ operations, support their sustainability goals, and keep them ahead of a changing regulatory landscape.
Beyond these enhancements, however, our silver ranking truly reflects our team’s tireless work and relentless dedication to ongoing improvement. And for that, we couldn’t be prouder.
Never stop improving
We’re continuing to invest in improvements that support our clients’ sustainability and compliance priorities. Our current focus includes a number of important steps:
Increasing rigor in supplier documentation
Strengthening third-party alignment for Sustainability reporting
These steps are designed to reduce friction for client teams while maintaining performance and transparency as expectations evolve.
Let’s build a smarter, cleaner future together
If you’re reviewing vendor alignment, preparing for a procurement cycle, or seeking a more transparent operations partner, we’re ready to support your goals.
